One Byte

Guidance:

You are an anti virus trying to protect the save file from the virus so you win if you eliminate the virus. You lose if all your units die, save file is destroyed or terrain health is depleted.

You can only attack with the 1 units in this game. zeroes are just supporting units. You can make combos like 1000 to have 8 damage. But if you do the reverse i.e, 0001, and attack the tile on the bottom of the the 1 unit, all zeroes will also attack the tile on the bottom of their respective positions. So both of these combinations are equally effective.

And remember, bit combinations always go left to right in this game no matter what the alignment of the lined up zeroes and ones are.

R Key: Reset Level

P Key: Reset Save File

Description:

One Byte is a turn-based, strategy game made within a week, by a team of 2, for the Brackey's Jam 2021.1 based on the theme: stronger together. In this game, you can make different bit combinations to increase damage / do area damage.
